I have my comp selected (I’ve tried selecting it both in the timeline and in the project window) and select “Export” then ClipNotes. That opens up the render queue and adds the project to the queue. But when I click on the output settings to bring up the window to choose WMV/MOV etc. I don’t get the ClipNotes window, I get the normal output window.

Does that clear it up at all?

d’oh, still running 6.5, and now saving up to get cs3

  • I should have mentioned I’m on an XP machine as well

  • I didn’t think you had to, but I tried installing a new font the other day with it open and couldn’t get it to show up in AE. I know Illustrator can load them in by hiding and showing the characters palette, but I don’ think AE does that. That or I did something wrong.

the second post from the thread https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/2/885034?univpostid=885019&pview=t might work for ya, although it was more for small tracking dots, it may work or at least be a good stepping stone to what you need.

    Good Luck

forgot to mention radius would need to be keyframed, or everything will slowly slide down even with a force of 0

I’ve never tried anything like this, but it sounds like something shatter could do. Use a custom map to get the cracks where you want them, and if you keyframe the strength of the blast you can keep it from completely getting blown away. I think that combined with some tweaking of the gravity and other physics settings you could get what your looking for.

I know what your talking about, I remember its a foreign car of some sort.

Anyway, I’ve watched it quite a bit, it looks like the background that is being revealed is the same setting but adding the car, and then adding some image adjustments and off setting it so everything doesn’t line up perfectly.
