Hey everyone, this was posted in the podcast forum, but that doesn’t seem to get as much traffic so hopefully someone here can help me out.

The export as ClipNotes command hasn’t been adding the ClipNotes output module to the render queue, just the normal module. Right now I’m evaluating the trial version, so I was digging through the Adobe page to see if its not enabled, but didn’t see it documented anywhere. And of course since its a trial, Adobe doesn’t offer support not related to installation.

Any ideas? And if you need to know its an XP machine, running the full versions of CS2 Pro, and I tried installing the Acrobat CS3 trial but that didn’t help either.

can you explain that again? What’s happening when you export clip notes. Step by step.

    Thanks.

I have my comp selected (I’ve tried selecting it both in the timeline and in the project window) and select “Export” then ClipNotes. That opens up the render queue and adds the project to the queue. But when I click on the output settings to bring up the window to choose WMV/MOV etc. I don’t get the ClipNotes window, I get the normal output window.

Does that clear it up at all?

I’m not sure exactly what’s going on there. But in the normal output window, try clicking on format options. If that doesn’t bring up the clip notes settings, then something is definitely wrong there.

However, you can do it manually.

Create a render output module (Composition > Make movie, or Ctrl/Cmd + M)

And in the output module settings, under the format pulldown, choose Adobe Clip Notes.
