Posted by Randy Van patten on March 1, 2007 at 6:05 amI would like to try and take a graphic and have it look all dried out like it is cracking in the dessert and have pieces crumble off. Any ides? Thanks, Randy

March 1, 2007 at 6:36 amI’ve never tried anything like this, but it sounds like something shatter could do. Use a custom map to get the cracks where you want them, and if you keyframe the strength of the blast you can keep it from completely getting blown away. I think that combined with some tweaking of the gravity and other physics settings you could get what your looking for.

Good luck with this. It could be a pretty cool effect.
