Well, you either the directory path is needs to be reconnected or maybe you just didn’t move them.
If it was me, I’d just rerender. But I probably wouldn’t even bother moving the render files, anyway. I’d just plan on rerendering once I’d finished moving the project.

What?! Getting what you pay for?!!? Shocking!!
OK, sarcasm aside, it’s possible to get cut rate telecine & film scans, but they’re usually not worth the “savings”. What I’ve seen is degrainers turned off, SD transfers bumped up to HD, poor focus, poor color/contrast, etc. Getting your film transfered is not the best place to try to save money. You can over spend, but you can also underspend. If the transfer house is not willing to accommodate you, then find another shop that will. And maybe they’ll come down on their price to be more competitive with the less accommodating shop.

You might want to try adding Spam Assassin to your email server. You might already have it, and just need to turn it on & configure it.

This is what makes Photoshop and Illustrator such valuable tools for film makers. It’s very easy to make a circle or oval in either of those programs and then make a stroke around it. Or just make the stroke.
BTW, you can do this in Motion using it’s vector shape generator. Refer to your Motion manual for more info.

Yes, you can do this in Final Cut. Briefly, you can set the audio & video tracks for each clip you log, there’s a tab in the Log & Capture window where you do this. You can also change those settings in the browser window before you capture. For more details, check your manual.

Buy a capture card and feed a proper PAL video signal to your PAL video monitor. Then you will know if you have a problem or not, and you can fix these problems as they arise.

If Michael Mann can ditch the “film look”, so can we.
Anyway, most post “film look” nonsense looks like crap. The best way to get a “film look” is to light & compose properly- and use a damn tripod!
