Most of those things are specific to the network. 60 sec of bars/tone, 10 sec slate & 10 sec countdown are more or less standard in the US. Some outlets may want a longer or shorter slate. Opens, number of segments, the number & timing of breaks are particular to the network (& sometimes the timeslot or particular show).

I’m not sure about this, but I think that Princo & Prodisk are now both owned by Ritek.
FWIW, I’ve been using Ritek for maybe a year & a half, with perhaps 3 or 4 returns out of a few hundred disks.

Artbeats, & Corbis are good places to start. You might be able to find some stills at various government websites (check the credits carefully to see if the photos are public domain or not!). Also check the prellinger archive on archive.org.

Try https://www.publishingperfection.com/ & search for “maps”. You’ll have to sort through a few pages worth of results. Make sure you double check the rights! Some of these collections come with broadcast rights, some do not!
I also think that both DeLorme & Rand McNally have broadcast products available.

Ironically, I’m freelancing for a producer who did some episodes of the Bachelor, & he was hoping that I could figure out how to do that on FCP. I think they did it on one of their Avids with some combination of plug ins from Sapphire. Regrettably, he didn’t know which, & I’ve never seen the Bachelor, so I subbed a simpler transition that he’s fond of.

FCP does not support 5.1 surround mixing. That needs to be done in a dedicated DAW, which has been properly set up for surround mixing.

Are you trying to import an FCP reference movie? A movie that was not saved as “Self Contained”, perhaps? That message is telling you that the movie’s missing a render file. Even if you could import it, then you wouldn’t be able to pay it properly.

Truth be told, I’ve never done it myself. According to the manual, DVD SP accepts .scc & .cc files, or your encoder would have to read the CC data from line 21.
FWIW, you should be able to find the manual online at Apple’s website & look up the relavant section.
