Bachelor dissolve?
Posted by Per Rönnecke on September 8, 2005 at 7:42 pmHave anyone seen Bachelor or Bachelorette and the dissolve with a combination of blur and over glow? Is this possible to create this in FCP 5? Any plugin?

Haven’t seen that show, but in Eureka! plugins there a transition called blur across which I think might do.

yes, blur across is good, in combination with Joe’s Chroma glow. You will need to razor 15 frames of each clip, add teh chroma glow, keyframe it, then add the blur across.

September 10, 2005 at 5:32 pmIronically, I’m freelancing for a producer who did some episodes of the Bachelor, & he was hoping that I could figure out how to do that on FCP. I think they did it on one of their Avids with some combination of plug ins from Sapphire. Regrettably, he didn’t know which, & I’ve never seen the Bachelor, so I subbed a simpler transition that he’s fond of.
