5.1 sound mixing
Is it possible to mix the audio tracks in FCP for 5.1? Which tool would I need to do this?

Go to tools>audio mixer.

FCP does not support 5.1 surround mixing. That needs to be done in a dedicated DAW, which has been properly set up for surround mixing.
