You know, I was the first person in my family ever to use an ATM. Not as sexy, perhaps, as first one to go to college, first to fly in an airplane, first to participate in a nuclear test, but I can’t help but notice how these things have become ubiquitous in the years since.
Surely, if I can take cash out of my New York City bank account using an ATM on the island of Folegandros, your client could have found cash at an ATM near you, as well.

And if you do need the alpha channel, it can be supplied as a separate file to be used as a travel matte. You should always try to get your renders from the AE artist in the format that’s best for you, not that’s best for them.

it resaves all the used files for that project where u tell it.”Honestly, I do this while working on the project. As new media gets added, I try to keep it in as few places as possible, all very clearly labelled. Still should all go in one folder, lower 3rds and graphics in one folder, music in one folder, SFX in one folder, etc. All on the same RAID, all labelled with the project’s name so that everything can be found very quickly, and all can be backed up easily.

You have a number of issues here, Jack.
First, you’re working at 2 different frame rates. Your Motion project is 29.97, but your FCP timeline is 23.98. They should both be the same.
Second, you’re compressing everything to DV in your timeline. It’s very difficult to keep good quality with graphics in DV.
Finally, you don’t say how you’re monitoring. You should be looking at a video monitor, not your computer monitor. Your FCP manual has a series of diagrams that will tell you how to hook up a video monitor using different types of equipment.

I would send them an image sequence. A tiff, targa or png sequence would retain the quality of the original, but each file would be only a couple of MB each. Send the sound as a separate aiff or wav file.

I’m guessing that Mike connected a G5 to a Mac Pro with a FW cable and started the G5 up in “target” mode by holding down the letter T on the keyboard. Then you would use Migration Assistant to transfer all of your installed software, home folder, settings, email, bookmarks etc all at one shot.
