What? Exactly what do you mean by migrated? If you mean that you tried to copy the FCS apps from a G5 to a MacPro that’s not a good idea.

You used the term migrate, now it’s “installing.” Not many of us here are mindreaders Mike.

In any case, if I were you, I’d consider using FCP remover from https://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcs_remover.htm and installing FCS from scratch. Also, before doing so, do all of the OS updates using Apple Software Update first, and keep running it until you get a message telling you that all software is up to date. Then install FCS from the installation disks and afterward run the updater and again, keep running it until it alerts you that all software is up to date.

I’m guessing that Mike connected a G5 to a Mac Pro with a FW cable and started the G5 up in “target” mode by holding down the letter T on the keyboard. Then you would use Migration Assistant to transfer all of your installed software, home folder, settings, email, bookmarks etc all at one shot.
