Panasonic as in GH3 or GH4?
I am not sure but I think CS6 will only do P2 or XDCAM EX cards.

Trimming all clips at once can only be done on the timeline.
Select Trim tool, then select all the clips in the timeline: now trim the clips.

Align and distribute is for arranging objects (text blocks or shapes) in the drawing area.
For Align you need at least two objects for distribute three.

If you want to adjust the letters in a text you use tracking and or kerning.

There is a reason.
Copy/paste is an exact copy of 01 and stays 01. If you change its content so do the rest of the copy/paste titles.
If you alt+drag (or duplicate) a title it will become 01 copy 01. If you change a copy 01 title the original does not change with. It stays unique.

Canon has a plugin for FCPx, Premiere etc to edit MXF files.
FCPx still reads the files even though you dont have the card file structurer intact.

You cannot keyframe properties in the titler.
However you can drag Drop Shadow from the Effects palet and drop it on the title in the timeline and keyframe that.
