Have you check it the capture settings in the capture window is set to hdv? If not you can set it to hdv in Project/Project Settings/General/capture.

CS4: marque all the clips you want the transition applied to and ‘Apply Default Transitions to Selection’ from the Sequence drop down menu.
For video or audio only marque with the Alt key pressed.

I encountered the same problem. When deinterlacing the clip all was well.

Export/Media/Microsoft avi/PAL or NTSC DV.

If everything is in one folder it is simple to remove with one click.
If things are scattered? Alas Premiere will not do this for you.

nesting sequences means using a sequence as a clip within another sequence.
This is accomplished by eihter dragging the sequence from the project panel or source monitor into the track of the sequence ore using any of the other methods for adding a clip.

The wmv needs to have PAL dvd dimensions otherwise it will not export to dvd.

The wmv file is 640×480, DVD specs are 720×576. You friend can put the wmv file in a pal project and scale it up to fit the frame and then export to dvd.

Make sure you have two internal drives. One for the OS and one for A/V. External drives are for storage not for editing.
