Capture source in Premiere pro cs4
Capture settings in premiere pro cs4?
I am trying to capture some hd footage from a canon hv30 in premiere pro cs4. I have checked output settings in hv30, they are set to hdv. when I open a new project for cs4 under capture settings “source” I cant get hv30 to show up, it only says “built in i-sight”. everything is connected properly with fire wire and I’ve tried this with many different compression’s settings, still cant get it. I can capture it fine in standard dv mode just not hd. I shot the footage in hd 24p cine mode.. any ideas??? anyone??? -

Have you check it the capture settings in the capture window is set to hdv? If not you can set it to hdv in Project/Project Settings/General/capture.
