Press Check Project in the Build tab and dubble click on the message. See if you can delete it then from there.

Best is to leave it to lower field. Exporting to progressive means throwing away half of your vertical resolution. If interlacing artifacts are very annoying then exporting to progressive is the only way

The exported still does not hold the pixel aspect ratio used by the footage. It expots in square pixels. You need a program like Photoshop. Open a new ntsc widescreen psd file and import the still into this image. Strech it in the width to fill out and save.

Probably a codec problem.
Run the file thru GSpot and see which codec it is you are probably missing. -
Still did not mention what kind of footage it is.
When its AVCHD your pc is out of date for this kind of footage. -

Might want to have a look at Mainconcept Pro HD 4, does smart rendering.

You can mix upper and lower in the same timeline. If the timeline is set to upper you need to change the field dominance of all the lower field clips. Either done in the Project Window (Interprete footage) or on the timeline (Field Options).
