    Mario,

Would it be possible for you to send us an export of your project from Resolve 9.0.1? You can send the exported file to davincihelp (at) blackmagicdesign (dot) com.

    Thanks,
    Anish

Is it possible that you were rendering without audio in V8 but with audio in V9?

As soon as your render stops, could you run CaptureLogs (/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/CaptureLogs.app) and send us the packaged log file saved on your desktop. You can send the files to davincihelp (at) blackmagicdesign (dot) com.

    Thanks,
    Anish

October 2, 2012 at 8:52 am in reply to: Troubleshooting crashes

After a crash occurs, you can capture crash logs by running the CaptureLogs application (/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/CaptureLogs.app). This saves a compressed file with the relevant logs.

You can send crash logs with details on how to reproduce to davincihelp (at) blackmagicdesign (dot) com.

    Thanks,
    Anish

  • Do you receive any error message when you open the folder in Resolve? Typically Resolve will not show any file types it does not support. However, H264 quicktime files are supported and should open in Resolve.

Can you send us a short sample H264 clip from the camera that you are not able to open in Resolve? Could you send the media to davincihelp (at) blackmagicdesign (dot) com?

    Thanks,
    Anish

September 18, 2012 at 5:24 am in reply to: Wipe timeline clip in unmix mode issue.

    Hi Artem,

It looks like the timeline wipe is not updating when you toggle unmix mode on and off.

For now, you can turn on or off unmix (as desired), timeline wipe another clip and then timeline wipe the desired clip.

If you want to timeline wipe a specific frame, you can scrub through the clip in the thumbnail by left clicking on your mouse and dragging. Perform your timeline wipe after your thumbnail shows you the frame you wish to wipe.

    Thanks,
    Anish

  • Hi Dimitry,

Could you please export the project where you are not able to apply speed changes and send it to davincihelp (at) blackmagicdesign (dot) com.

Let us know which clip you are not able to make adjustments on.

    Thanks,
    Anish

    Jarek,

You could send the entire database and let us know which project. Also, the capture logs would help us see what is happening.

    Thanks,
    Anish

    Hi Jarek,

I could not find an email from you in there. Could you try to sending us the zipped capture logs file there once again?

One more thing you could try is to try to import the project into another user or database and tell us if it crashes during the import.

    Thanks,
    Anish

    Hi Jarek,

Could you send logs immediately after the crash (run /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/CaptureLogs.app) and a project export from 8.2 (if possible) to davincihelp (at) blackmagicdesign (dot) com?

    Thanks,
    Anish

  • Jason,

This should be fixed in the release build. Can you please confirm?

    Thanks,
    Anish
