Trying to get round tripping working from PPro.

Currently when I try importing the FC xml export from PPro Resolve Lite crashes without warning.

Shouldn’t there be some sort of a bug report automatically generated???
No software is 100% bug free so its not clear to me how bugs are tracked and fixed.

The other time Resolve Lite crashes for me is in the tracker.

What are some suggested steps to try when it comes to Resolve crashing?

    Resolve Lite 9.0.1lite.010
    OSX 10.8.2
    3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
    16GB 1333 MHz DDR3 (2011 27″ iMac)

After a crash occurs, you can capture crash logs by running the CaptureLogs application (/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/CaptureLogs.app). This saves a compressed file with the relevant logs.

You can send crash logs with details on how to reproduce to davincihelp (at) blackmagicdesign (dot) com.

    Thanks,
    Anish

Definitely update to Resolve 9.0.1, which has some tracking related issues fixed. Then if you still have crashing, please send us the log files as per Anish.

Thanks Dwaine. I already have a few days back but no response yet. Would you suggest I resend?

On another subject wanted to recommend Side by Side the movie. Davinci hardware-software feature prominently in interviews with Stefan Sonnenfeld (Collateral, 300, Alice in Wonderland), Jill Bogdanowicz (J.Edgar, Gran Torino, Ray), Tim Stipan (The Wrestler, Black Swan, Che) and also in a short segment involving Roger Deakins in the DI session for ‘O Brother Where Art Thou?’.

Jim, I don’t see any emails that look like this. Would it have the same name as you are using here?

    Yes, please try resending.
