All we can do is keep sending messages directly to Sony reporting bugs. They’ve probably been bombarded by now, but keep doing it.
Next, buy a major share of stock in Sony, try to get on their board of directors, and get in a team that makes working software.

If you’re changing the event size after setting keyframes within the event then it could affect the keyframes, especially if you’re shortening the clips.

Are you doing the color correcting on the events themselves or on the track level? Either way, be sure to have “Sync Cursor to Media Timeline” turned off so that you’re not unintentionally making keyframes for your changes.

Here are the data rates for RAW-1.46 TB per hour. Double that to back everything up, which you absolutely should do, without question. So get ready to spend a few hundred dollars for every hour you shoot, despite the camera itself being pretty inexpensive.

The jagged lines are interlacing artifacts. What you should do is first set your project properties to match your video-easy enough to do. Go to your project properties, and on the upper right there’s sort of a film strip looking button that says “Match Media Settings” when you hover the mouse pointer over it. Click on it, then click on one of the pieces of video, and it will set the project to match that.
When you render the video is when you want to de-interlace it. Set your de-interlace method to “Blend” if there’s not much motion to blend the odd and even fields of resolution, and set it to “Interpolate” if there’s a lot of motion to avoid losing motion information by merely pulling out half of the interlaced fields, which I think Vegas then deals with by increasing vertical resolution.

I’m not sure, though I would guess so. However, I don’t know why most videographers would want this camera since I hear that low light performance is not good, for one thing. Far more importantly, Raw video means many, many times more storage needs than what you have with any other camera. You’ll be spending many thousands on hard drives and arrays for a few hours of footage on that camera.

No, you have to buy it, though I’m pretty sure they offer a free trial.

Slow motion from 24 fps footage will have ghosting artifacts because Vegas is trying to fill in the missing frames. Twixtor is a plugin you can use (I’ve never used it) that seems to work well for people, and it will make slow motion footage for you. But you should shoot at 30 fps or higher to get slow motion.

It’s going to do that because that’s the file pathway. You’ll have to redirect it for all the files, yes, but that should solve it.
