Deinterlacing video IN SV10
Hi all new here, my first post. I’m breaking into the HD camcorder world and have a couple questions. OK when I’m shooting in ACH 1080 with my Canon Vixia HF R300 and import into sony vegas 10 is there a need to deinterlace the footage for rendering in 1080? Remember that this stuff is very new to me but I’m not a total stranger to Sony Vegas. I just don’t actually see a setting to deinterlace in Sony Vegas. My thinking is that I don’t have to do this unless I render 1080 footage down to 720 ? Part of the problem that I have with rendering in 1080 is that I get the famouse “memory error” failure or my system just plain locks up. This does not happen every time but 40 nto 50% of the time. The reason I’m asking is that I made some test footage and uploaded it to youtube and a viewer saw I didn’t deinterlace right off the bat. I noticed the jagged lines myself a couple times in the video. Is there an easy way to do this ? I know this is a ton of questions but I really look forward to any help.
