I’m not sure personally, but the answer appears to be that it does, but with some restrictions. Here’s another discussion about it: https://www.magix.info/us/forum/does-vegas-13-or-14-support-reading-red-dragon-r3d-files-natively–1174578/
Here’s another discussion with some good info: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-v14-build-252-cannot-import-red-files–106876/

That looks like video noise. You could use a de-noiser, though removing it from a moving noise pattern seems like it would be tedious.

But Vegas still fulfills all my needs, and Vegas 14 Pro Suite with Boris FX is a great fit for me. Just the chroma key plugins alone are amazing.

I’m lucky I haven’t dealt with any bugs yet. Though having the icons in black and white makes NO sense and feels like something out of an early 1990s computer program.

Ok – NOW I’m getting more latency issues (or more likely, I’m just noticing them more), including audio sounding out of sync due to latency (not actually being out of sync). Even when the preview quality is set very low.

In my opinion, your bit rate is definitely overkill for YouTube. YouTube compresses everything to what, 3 mpbs? I usually render video for YouTube from my Canon Powershot G7X (or formerly my Canon Vixia HF S21) at 4 mpbs. I used to do it out of ignorance at 10 mpbs and noticed no difference.
Experiment with bringing your bit rate down in a few second clips to see what’s lower bit rate gives you acceptable quality. The only reason I’m not saying for sure a 4 mpbs bit rate will work for you is because I haven’t personally tested the same kind of video to see the difference, but I’d make a firm bet that the quality difference on YouTube will be negligible.

I haven’t had latency this bad yet, but I posted another thread about how the audio is horribly out of sync when I playback video and the preview quality is a little high. It’s weird because in previous versions of Vegas though playback would be choppy at higher quality preview settings, the audio never drifted out of sync. The problem fixes itself if you stop and playback from around the same spot once or twice (or just reduced the quality), but it’s a weird feature.

bit, because it doesn’t render out that way. Seems its some sort of audio latency playback due to which
audio device being used or maybe its settings.”Yeah, it seems to happen when the preview quality is higher, creating more latency. It’s just weird how perfectly off it is. It’s much less/non-existent when preview quality is lower.

It would work fine in 13 but not 14 then someone suggested I install Microsoft .NET framework 4.6.2 and that worked.”
Thank goodness, that worked!
