Dumb question, but are you rendering out the color corrected clips?

So I assume you’re doing the green screen keying and sending footage back?
1) Transfer to you doesn’t matter much, depending on the footage, is camera original an option? Probably smaller in most cases than a good intermediate codec?
2) Unless you’re doing spill suppression and other things to the image, why not just send them a black and white video that is basically an alpha channel they can use on their end? Compressed Quicktime PNG would be lossless and work well in this situation.
Edit: Also, no ProRes encoder on Windows supports Alpha. If you have a ProRes file aready with an alpha channel from a Mac, then Quicktime and other apps will use it properly.

It’s intermittent, I’ve seen it once and restarted my computer with no further ill effects.

Please remove -v:a 1 as this maps to LAME’s quality setting, it overrides -ar 56K.
Edit: This looks like it produces a CBR file. You can use -v:a 9 for a closer approximation. Average bitrate encoding (A variant on how VBR is calculated) doesn’t look achievable through FFMPEG so you may need to use LAME’s direct executable in the command line if you need absolute accuracy.

Seems like the unifying factor is OSX, at least in the thread. Are you also on OSX?
I’ve recently been shuffling around a project with project manager with RED and ProRes clips on OSX through Premiere Pro CC without issue.
A “general error” and the fac that some footage is corrupted is a sure sign of a disk access/copy error. What kind of hard disk setup are you using? Including how you’ve formatted your disks. I’ve had terrible experiences with OSX formatted ExFat drive because people assume it’s cross-platform when OSX has a bug in formatting structure; I’ve had custom apps I’ve programmed fail to read ExFat formatted drives on Mac.

On the timeline, no. Once an item is on a timeline anywhere in your project, you cannot alter the amount of audio channels, only how they are mapped.
Best thing to do, as I assume you want to add some effect that only works in stereo is go to the Audio mixer panel, create a stereo submix and send your mono channel to that. You can then apply stereo effects to the stereo submix on the mixing panel.

I’m looking at Effects > 3D > 3D channel extract
Slipped my mind to forget about EXtractor which is, indeed, 32-bit. My apologies.

Dynamic Link Media Server, as I understand it, its own little headless in the background utility that manages dynamic link functions of which there is more than just the Premiere Pro – After Effects link. It also manages connecting to other Adobe programs to read saved files like how AME will initiate dynamic link if you drag a Premiere Pro project onto it.
Since each version has a copy of Dynamic Link Media Server, they have to put an update notice on each.

First, don’t export h.264 from AE. AE isn’t optimized to export intraframe codecs and Adobe themselves don’t recommend it. Best to render an intermediate file (uncompressed, prores, etc) and master in Adobe Media Encoder.
Take a look at https://www.fallenempiredigital.com/blog/2013/05/06/understanding-premiere-pros-h-264-export-encoding-settings/
Use the h.264 settings in AME rather than Quicktime. They use different encoders and the native Quicktime one is terrible.
Since Vimeo is reencoding all your video anyways, yes it’s best to bump your settings up and use high profile. High profile includes some compression optimizations. Level setting also doesn’t matter, Vimeo will reencode multiple formats and serve them to users as needed; it’s really a flag to let hardware decoders know if they’re rated to decode the frame size/frame rate being played back.

July 23, 2013 at 7:06 pm in reply to: Exporting a project to keep only the sequence contentFile > Project Manager. If you have an older version of Premiere, I think it’s under the edit menu.
Select the timelines you want to keep and select “exclude unused” and select “collect files and copy to new location”.
The option to create trimmed files works on only a select set of media files, I think XDCAM and some others.
