Solution.
Could have sworn I tried this yesterday, maybe I had a typo or something.
I just assigned an ID to the div that contained the images. My CSS is as follows.
#thumbs
{
text-align:center;
margin-top:0px;
margin-bottom:0px;
padding:0px;
}Hopefully with post will help someone who is as new to CSS/HTML as I am.

Nice.
I’ve heard good things about MacCaption. MacCaption allows you to output to an HD tape format?

I have a project coming up that requires CC of an HD video. This is my first time CC’ing, and from what I’ve read this much different than CC for SD.
Could someone simply shed some light? As of June 17, 2009 one cannot output CC’ed HD content through a Kona 3, correct? This would require a Matrox MX02?
Browsing around on the forums, I see mention of a Kona update, but apparently that only fixed an issue with CC for HD, correct?

Dan,
Did you ever discover a working solution? If so, what is it. I’m about to output an HD project with CC through a Kona 3 as well.

Thanks for the tip Walter.
I knew hardware would be needed for this conversion, at least for the best quality output. Would the service I send the master Digi-Beta to not have a Terranex?
So, Walter, you’re saying that I’ll have to send them a digital that I’ve converted so they can use their PAL deck for output?

June 12, 2009 at 2:26 pm in reply to: WMV Playback on Mac, and a few odds and ends regarding playing from server.I compressed on a PPC G5. Dual 2gHz processor and 1.5GB RAM. It’s actually the slowest machine around here, but it doesn’t do anything other than crunch compressions. I noticed that the WMVs I encoded with Flip4Mac, but not the ones I encoded with Sorenson weren’t playing back well.
They didn’t ask for anything specific other than WMV. Unfortunately we are not in contact with any of the technical people on their end. I could request more details if needed.

I believe that Compressor will give you better results, but take longer. If you use the correct settings in Compressor you can take advantage of its optical flow tech.

I don’t want to hijack this thread, but Daniel, you wouldn’t recommend an H.264? I thought it gives better results than H.263, at least as far as file size to quality ratio is concerned.
I’m definitely not disagreeing, just looking for a reason to cite.
