I am just afraid to do that in the middle of my project with a deadline looming dangerously close 🙂 Is 10d more stable?

    Hi Mike,
do I need to delete events in the timeline before applying presets to project media? I’ve done sync of all my three cams and two audio recorders and don’t want to loose it. I’ve tried to apply my saved presets to project media but it wouldn’t let me. Maybe that’s the reason why. However I was able to apply any of the filter packages supplied with Vegas 10?

To add to my previous question: does the scanning pixel ratio changes for vertical vs. landscape image orientation?

What is the best procedure to scan photographs for use in Vegas. I would like to crop the photos and do zoom and pan. Should I first bring them into Photoshop to crop? Or can I easly do all this directly in Vegas?

Thanks. Fortunately I found finally a back up file that was only few hours old so was able to redo stuff relatively easy. Since then I saving my file every few hours with different names – doing it manually for now. Excaliber is on my wish list.

I am a bit confused here when comes to widescreen. What should I scan at: 864:480 to fit my images into widescreen? BTW why Vegas shows my widescreen parameters as 720:480 widescreen and not 864:480?
