as far as i know the problem also occurs with
spanned red clips… just add them manually
into the media pool and it should be alright!

    thanks for the info 🙁

i didn’t try the new resolve nr, but neat is the best
nr i ever worked with. with a little tweaking, i get
    stunning results with it!

i didn’t hope to work in RT with it, but to judge the
result in resolve and then use render cache or simply
do a first pass NR on all the material in a seperate
directory and relink it afterwards. all within resolve, which
    would be a huge timesaver!

dmitry, did you write neat about it? are they working on the
    issue?

i would suggest dpx, thats my favorite.

then you can easily render proxies in davinci and grade.
presuming you have a fast raid at hand.

    hi sascha,

of course! in my opinion LUTs are good for preview versions, eg dailies to edit with.
i never use a lut in grading. after all it is kina like a pregrade, you can use it if you like
the outcome, or don’t use it.

if you are planning to use a lut it is usually a good idea to have a “prenode” in which
you can alter the image contrastwise, so the lut doesn’t “throw away” some of your
    recorded detail.
