Workflow sugesstions with 4k Timelapse material
Hi DaVinci Gurus,
I have to edit GoPro 5k material that consists of captured timelapse material.
To bring the attention to the essential timespans I timeremapped a lot in AE.
Tried to grade in AE, but it´s far more convenient in Resolve 🙂
My question is what you would recommend as outputformat from AE into Resolve.
The whole movie is about 6 min – so its not too much…
I would like to keep the 4k resolution, cause I want to pan and zoom just a little in the finale frame.Has anybody experience in Outputing from AE to Davinci? I will not be able to do the XML roundtrip with the EDL – so I will have to use the scene detection for the first time – hope this works fine – and with 10 beta – the editing tools seems to be alright… 🙂
A tip for the Output Format you would use would be great as well

i would suggest dpx, thats my favorite.
then you can easily render proxies in davinci and grade.
presuming you have a fast raid at hand.
