I got one you can have. Done entirely in Vegas. Send me an email and I’ll send it to you. Starts at 8. This one’s B&W. I also got one using generated media but it’s blue and white. You can just change the color if you want.

Hmmmm, that’s very interesting. But your doing classroom lectures. Not much motion. I shoot a lot of fast moving trains and lots of motion and best I ever did was 2’20” Didn’t like the render so cut it down to 2’5″. That one came out pretty good.

I think it has to do with how much motion, fast of slow or “talking head”.

But since the bezier mask came out I think it was Vegas 5, it’s a lot easier and you don’t need to do a flash version.

If you’re recording throuhg the line imput of your sound card, then you have to go into the Windows sound section and set to record and mute all but the line-in.

Double click the speaker icon in the system tray, select options-properties then check the record box. Then you can adjust your recording preferences.

After that follow Gary’s instructions. Add an audio track and arm it.

This is what I had to do to make my vo’s. You’re not seeing the waves because you may not be actually recording.

Okay, but what template are you using? Default? Maybe that’s your problem. Try doing the same thing but go to the template box below the AVI and choose NTSC-DV (or PAL is you’re using PAL), or any of the other templates besides the default uncompressed.
