Apple doesn’t handle HDV the same as PC apps do.
This you’d need to translate the files into a common friendly codec or reingest from the tapes on the PC.

How did you create your project?
It sounds something like you render settings are set to a different resolution or incorrect codec….

In Avid I do this by dropping an effect on an empty track. ”Another option is to multi select the clips, right click and choose Nest.
This drop the selection in a subordinate sequence.Then apply your effect on your master timeline to the nest.

To do the motion in PPro…
you can keyframe the basic motion parameter to one then copy and paste attributes to the others.
this would be a quick way.
