I am trying to convert a quicktime movie a client sent me to a flv file using adobe premiere pro on a pc. (I am planning on importing the qt file into a project and then exporting as an flv)

When I attempted to import the qt file a message said missing codec. I searched creative cow forums, downloaded the recommended gspot application and found the codec to be hdv2.

Can I download an hdv2 codec for windows? Is there another solution to converting this file to flv on my pc?

    As always, thanks.

is this a trial version of PPro or a full install?

trials probably don’t have the licensed codec…

Sorry didn’t realize this was an HDV captured on a Mac.

Apple handles this differently from PC.

They’ll need to export it as a qt codec you can handle or do the FLV export on the Mac side.
