WAVS will be alright on the Mac.

There used to be a Time Warp Filter effect (CS3 & CS4) that let you do the warping in a much easier way and didn’t ripple the clip length. Unfortunately it didn’t make the 64 bit port to CS5. I put in a feature request to have this ported.

If you guys send the feature request, it will help bump it up in priority. 🙂

My guess is that doing a reverse of that segment is asking the clip to look at it’s underlying source (i.e. the multicam timeline) frames in a way the other effects don’t…a such you’re now some how outside the range frames.

It’s a long shot, but try nesting that segment (I know its effectively a double nest) then doing the reverse, but then ONLY those frames should be available to be reversed…so you might outsmart the frames that way.

if that doesn’t work, export those frames as a clip, replace the edit and then reverse….the new media.

February 2, 2011 at 4:06 pm in reply to: Rs 422 control “input”?

In speaking with some of my friends at Matrox, the CS5 versions of their software support RS-422 control playback in the software that comes with there MXO hardware.

again this is with media files external from PPro, not in the app itself, so you might give that a go.

    Javier…

to my knowledge, PPro does not have a “VTR emulation mode” which is what you are describing.

    However check out: https://www(dot)virtualvtr(dot)com.

this should allow you to control playback of exported media from any application with a compatible video i/o from: AJA, Matrox, or Black Magic

PG UP and PG Down are the defaults for prev/next clip as I recall.

    not sure about next/prev “screen”
