I have a long multi camera nested sequence which I’ve cut up.

I’ve been able to do scaling and add filters to multi camera segments, but when I do a speed change, specifically I’m try to ‘reverse’ the speed of that segment. The result is it seems that the clip doesn’t exist, it’s not playing. The layer below it plays. Undoing the speed change results in it working fine, as before.

    Any advice is appreciated.

My guess is that doing a reverse of that segment is asking the clip to look at it’s underlying source (i.e. the multicam timeline) frames in a way the other effects don’t…a such you’re now some how outside the range frames.

It’s a long shot, but try nesting that segment (I know its effectively a double nest) then doing the reverse, but then ONLY those frames should be available to be reversed…so you might outsmart the frames that way.

if that doesn’t work, export those frames as a clip, replace the edit and then reverse….the new media.
