Speed ramp without changing clip duration
I’m trying to do what I feel like is a very simple edit. However, as I adjust the speed of the clip, the duration change makes it impossible to fine tune the clip.
I’ve got some footage of golf balls being chipping towards the hole. I want to slow down the clip as the final ball is approaching the hole, freeze the clip for .5-1 second, then ramp up to resume speed.
Is there a way within Premiere to change the speed without changing the duration? I downloaded a Twixtor demo and can accomplish this in seconds, but I don’t have the funds for Twixtor.
Are there alternative ways to do this?
Thanks!
