in the picture, the timeline looks normal to me.

But no effects controls as no clip is selected.

Are you saying it won’t let you select a clip?

Yeah….

you are going from a GOP structure that records data as only the changes to a frame based encoding that’s pretty lightly compressed….

so quality is high, but data rate is high as well.

are you on the Mac?

Do you have Pro Codecs installed?

if so….try ProRes422, you’ll get a good looking more compact file

Compare Sequence Settings of one that works versus one that doesn’t?

I bet there is a difference there….

in the non working one…
When you made your initial camera multi setup sequence….
it probably used the setup of your first selected source….
which was probably interpreted as 4 channel mono…

to fix…

I think find the sequence in the project panel…right click, modify and change the audio to be what you want (stereo, I think based on your description)…

I suppose you could….

you just need to specify that the proxy directory is separate from your full res directory…. and the full res directory is outside of any directory being synced by Dropbox or Adobe CC…

I’m not using the proxy workflow yet….so I can’t give you step by step….

and I don’t know what happens with Proxies when paths change from system to system….

it might be easiest (although a little bit cluttery) that you PPro Project and proxy media actually reside in the SAME directory…

that way PPro should autodetect the files even when the paths change when moving back and forth from machine to machine…

but it would seem some testing would be in order to develop a bulletproof workflow…

Can you find the file and play the video outside of PPro?

maybe it’s a codec issue?

Have you tried reverting to software only mode

File>Project Settings>General

?

hmmm…

are you using Previews as part of the export?

If you’re getting an analysis frame….I bet you are not.

so you could try that….assuming your previews are high enough quality that you want to use them.

Also…

you can always easy bake them and actually lay them as clips into the timeline….that should do it.

(probably want to work from a duplicate of your master in that case….)
