Morph Cut export issue
The Morph Cut transition, like all of these effects, sometimes works for your video and sometimes doesn’t. No issue there. However, exports can be unreliable. I exported a timeline yesterday with a bunch of these through-out. When I QC’ed the export, a number of them exported with the “analyzing in the background” banner up over the video, baked into the exported file. FWIW – I had checked all of these before exporting. The export was via Media Encoder.

hmmm…
are you using Previews as part of the export?
If you’re getting an analysis frame….I bet you are not.
so you could try that….assuming your previews are high enough quality that you want to use them.
Also…
you can always easy bake them and actually lay them as clips into the timeline….that should do it.
(probably want to work from a duplicate of your master in that case….)

I have used Morph Cut in a number of pieces under varying conditions, and while at times the results were not optimal, usually due to more difference in head position (and once from daylight variance) between clips, I have yet to encounter anything with the “Analyzing in background” baked in.
Is it consistent? If not, what are the circumstances when it appears, and how do they differ from when it doesn’t happen?

Not consistent. Export was through AME, so maybe that’s a factor.

I don’t know. This is the first time I seriously used MorphCut extensively and the first time through AME with a LOT of them in the timeline.

I have noticed that export bugs happen more often when Media Encoder is set to hardware instead of software.
