    Thanks for the response Jerry.

It’s a two day meeting to go on a single SD pal DVD. I’ve dv camera master of the whole event but only export a few minutes of each speaker (30), but ac3 audio to synch up with all slides. The slides are collected together as slideshows within DVDSP.

So what I’ve always done in the past is export each audio clip to compressor, adding to a batch, then leave the batch to compress over an extended period.

Unless I can devise another workflow, I’ll now have to export each AC3 file individually. This really adds a collosal ammount of work to the process.

Any alternative suggestions would be very gratefully received.

I am correct in thinking that the ‘export to compressor’ method has changed within FCS aren’t I?

    With thanks

I love my wacom tablet for FCP. I had problems with getting the middle button to work in color with the logitec (limited Mac drivers) so bought a Microsoft. The wireless works faultlessly and the shape is very easy to hold for long periods – well for a mouse anyway!

This is a great tip. Does it work in FCP?

Perhaps I’m lucky having very good contacts, but I got one here in the UK with little trouble.

    David,

I have the same problem on my new MBP. I haven’t been able to find the patch on the Boris site. I wonder if you could do the same for me please.

    Jeremy,

An interesting caveat to your comments about DVCProHD.

When FCS has control of my ‘fresh out of the cellophane’ IoHD its control panel reports that its framebuffer is in DVCProHD native mode. As soon as I make the control panel the front application, the framebuffer reverts to ProRes.

As it’s prores I’m after and don’t use DVCProDH at all I’m trying to get to the bottom of this with AJA support.
