I use the free version of the Paragon software with no problems. It’s a bit slow at writing to and NTFS disk and haven’t established if buying the full version would speed it up any.

    Anyway it just works!

    Jason/Andrew,

I’ve been using the free version for a while. No problems but a bit slow. Is the full version much faster?

    Thanks

Yes that’s exactly what I was asking Walter. Being a PC man I know there’s nothing wrong with NTFS

Ben, I’ve been using the freebie version of 3G-NTFS for sometime now. It works but is very slow. I’ve wondered whether buying the full version would speed up file tranfers. What’s your opinion?

    Thanks Alan

  • Be careful Mark before you purchase a dozen. I’ve done the same thing, not recently though and not with Transcend, and found that some work and some don’t even though the cards are (so call, and identified as) identical.

At the (UK) show tis week Rafa I was told my my (well respected) friend who works for the European Distributers that they are working on the SDI version. It won’t have both HDMI and HD-SDI though. They are making alternative versions to keep the form factor small.

I was very impressed with what I saw although sad to hear about the DSLR problems hightlit above

Thanks for the info Tom, I’m don’t use FCP a great deal and I was expecting the roll/ripple to work in the viewer windows as it does in Edius. I wonder what the point is then of the cursor changing?

    Kindest regards Alan
