    Dave,
Thanks for your input. Here is a picture of what I’m working with.

I tried using the curves effect and found that ‘plastic’ look you mentioned to be pretty bad.

[Jason Guerra] ” So, for example, I have a 14 frame selection in my timeline. When I overwrite, PP is only placing 11 frames from my roomtone clip”

    Hey Jason,
I was having a similar issue earlier today working with graphics. I marked where I wanted my graphic to stop and then it would hit the mark and “skid” almost like a car trying to stop on an icy road( we have a lot of those this time of year in Illinois!)

I noticed that there was an update for PPro CC available so I did it and now everything seems to be running just fine.

You might check and make sure you’ve done that.

    Hope this helps.

    Happy Editing!

  • [Joe Chow] “Should I not have updated each time Creative Cloud informed me that updates were available?”

    Hi Joe,
I don’t know if this will help or not, but I found your post because I was having the same problem today. I wasn’t able to output from PPro when I added graphics to my project. Without the graphics, output was just fine, albeit quite longer than usual.

I noticed the update for PPro CC was available and after running it, everything is running smoothly. Like I say, not sure if that will help or not, but that was my experience.

    Chris,
Thanks for your input. I’ll give those a try and probably be posting more projects as they come about!

Correct. Sorry for the confusion, they are burned in.
Is there a way to do in Premiere, or would I have to use a third party app?

    Thanks, Chris!
I read that on their website as well. I was wondering what “working on it” meant. 😉

I have seen other videos that are closed captioned so I know it can be done, I was thinking about trying to use After Effects to do it.

November 18, 2013 at 5:40 pm in reply to: Problems with Audio in Premiere Pro CC

    Hi Kristina,
I’m not sure if you found a solution to your problem, but I was having a similar issue earlier. I’m only using one camera for my shoot (Canon XF300) but on export, no matter what format (h.264, m2v, etc..) my audio was dropping out of one section of the video and then returning.
I ended up relaying the audio of the section that was dropping out and that fixed the issue.

Not sure if it’s that easy for you to do because it sounds like you have quite a lot of audio tracks, but it worked for me.
Still not sure what caused the issue, though.
    Hope this helps.

You might try to make sure your borders are set to ‘auto scale’. If not, you may be seeing the whole image instead of just what Adobe is scaling.

    That makes sense.
    Thanks.

A colleague also recommended I try using an Illustrator file. I’ve never tried that either. Any thoughts?
