Hello,
The current version 3.0 software is the proper driver for FCS2, in addition to supporting FCP 5.1.x.
AJA is also creating new Easy Setups to support FCP6. These additional Easy Setups will be a separate download at our website, and not part of a new driver release. We will post here when this is available for download, which is expected shortly.

The issue you are having may be as simple as a menu item setting for the Sony HDW-F500 VTR (there are quite a few!)… luckily AJA has some notes on that VTR.Since you don’t specify which Kona card you have in your post, I will give you the URLs which direct you to the whitepaper on setting up the HDW-F500 VTR with a Kona card (the whitepaper you are looking for as a downloadable PDF is entitled “Whitepaper: Sony HDCAM Essentials”):

The Kona 2 version 4.0 driver was available with the rest of the updated Kona drivers. Perhaps your browser needs to refresh or is holding an old page in cache?

The XENA for Mac plugins were shown at NAB as a preview of things to come. They will be available in the summer, when Adobe ships the CS3 Production Suite.

Hi,
The Io HD has an all new driver built by AJA, that is a Core Audio driver, unlike the earlier Io’s. Because of this, interactions with audio applications will be easier, as the Io HD should show up as a Core Audio I/O device in most cases.
Until we can do final testing with configurations of the shipping Io HD driver and the shipping FCS2, we will have little detailed info. When Io HD ships in July, we will have detailed performance and compatibility information to share.

Hi,
The Io, Io LA, and Io LD, do not have the Apple ProRes 422 codec in hardware, so that’s correct, any encoding is done on the CPU. The Io HD does contain the ProRes 422 codec in hardware, and will do HD and SD, whereas it’s predecessors are SD only.

Yes, there is all new driver/software for the Io HD, built by AJA. It will have a Control Panel, much like the KONA one.

Yes, when acting as a stand-alone, you can take any input and send to any output, except the Firewire, which is only to send data to/from the Mac.
