I’m actually working on a Creative Cow DVD that covers this (compression for the web+ Flash, podcasting, and tutorial making, and other stuff too) in depth. I hope to complete the DVD by the end of this month.
Do not use SWF’s. Use FLV. SWF’s lose sync between audio and video.
What you want to do is either use an FLV preset and then create a player for it in Flash, or use the SWF setting in squeeze but make sure to set it to “Linked FLV” (found in the player options), and then chose a player (Squeeze comes with many pre-made players). This creates an SWF player that loads the FLV video.

I have to present Adobe AE CS3 at Promax, and this question gave me an idea for that.
You can use the puppet tool for this- Create several points, and then give each puppet point a wiggle expression. Turn on motion blur and watch it fly.
If you precomp the still image, and then fade from one to the other, you can have some pretty nice crazy blurry motion.
And to get control over the expression so that it starts and stops when you want it to, use expression controls (as I did in part 3 of the Expression Controls tutorial).

I tried Windows XP 64 for a few days, and it was not fun. Too many of my applications are not supported by X64. Make sure that any apps or hardware you have are supported by X64 before going with it.
I’ll also tell you that it;s next to impossible to find a non OEM version of XP 64. Mr. Bill has wiped them off the face of the planet. I got a copy at Newegg.com.
As far as machines go, check out Boldata.com – I just purchased a monster from them, and so far so good.

The puppet tool in AE CS3 (8) will make this much easier. Andrew’s demo showed him breaking the actor into 2 parts to create the impact bend (the actor’s body bands sideways as the truck hits him). But with the puppet tool, you can take the last frame and use it as a puppet, and bend it on impact with very little work.

AS far as I know, AE doesn;t do that. I don;t think it;s actually orbiting around the layer.
Most lilely, the layer that it appears to be orbiting is at the XYZ coordinates 0 – right at the center of the AE universe.
Try moving you’re camera’s point of interest to the point in 3D space you want it to orbit around.
If on the other hand, you don;t want the camera to orbit anything, and just want it to freely rotate (as if it were on a tripod), then select your camera and then go to the menus:
Layer > Transform > Auto Orient, and set it to Off

It covers how to move keyframes from AE 7 to 6.5 or older. Not fun, but doable…

My reel is about 2.5 minutes long and about 20 MB. I used Squeeze’s constrain file option size for that. Looks good.
