It should work on the first try, but you have to be in the move/rotate/scale tools, not selection tools. -
On a side note, you can check any and all shortcut keys in the Command Manager. Click on a command and then type a letter to scroll to that part of the alphabet.

If you’re on a PC you can use the free Riptide .obj importer which will bring in textures. Otherwise, unless you want to buy a plugin, you’ll have to reassign the materials manually.

It’s inexpensive and seems to solve your problems.

On second thought, it might be possible to export the geometry and bvh motion files separately and then set them up in Cinema, but it would be a lot of work.

AFAIK there is no way to import an animated Poser figure without a plugin.

They should come in fine, assuming the files are okay to begin with. The old maxim applies: sh*t in, sh*t out.
Make sure that the objects have Phong tags and that “angle limit” is checked. Also make sure the points are welded (run Function>Optimize).

Cinema doesn’t have spline boolean functions, but Samir (moderator) has a plugin for this.

You can use a layer shader. Add an effect>transform layer on top of your pic and change the transform angle to 90
