well, not only the idea of multiple instances of Vegas open, you can NEST one .veg file inside another project. You just drag n drop the veg file on to the timeline.

so, could have master project that incorporates multiple smaller projects. Very similar to sequences.

last week I CC’d some clips in the media pool. Once in multicam, the CC disappeared, but after doing the edit, then reverting back to single cam view (i.e. finished with the multicam), the CC was back

so CC is disabled during multicam, but is still there after. Didn’t try it on individual clips.

just off the top of my head, that vegas quake script works in v8………IIRC

on the number keypad:

4 & 6 = move one pixel left or right
1 & 3 = move one frame left or right

yep, that DEP solution was one I found too, though on reinstall of OS (vista64 business) for unrelated reasons, even that disappeared. Actually, IIRC, was DVDA that threw a hissy fit until DEP was removed for it…

now mine just works flawlessly. Mine not to reason why

to do it properly, you would need to use a prog like After Effects
there are plenty of tutorials on how to achieve this with AE, but vegas is not the beast to use. Too much finicky detail.
