I’m putting together a pro-wrestling promo vid. I was wondering what is the easiest way to achieve the earthquake/camera rocked type effect in the vido bellow (i marked the points).

I realise i’d be able to do it with keyframes/camera pan but i imagine it would be difficult to work out the exact way to do it.

Do i need a plug in for it?

    thanks.

Using (lots of) keyframes and Pan/Crop is definitely one way to do it.
It’s really not that tough once you start doing it.
There’s also a free script somewhere called Vegas Quake but, if you’re using Vegas Pro 8, it doesn’t work with it 🙁

Hi Ronan, try the New Blue plugins! https://www.newbluefx.com/ You’re looking for the one called Motion. But you can buy them in bundles. Best of luck.

I am looking for a plugin that does this also. I am editing some music videos and could really use something like this for different fx. anyone have a recommendation?

desi, the method (keyframes) and script that I mentioned and the software Rob mentioned are the only ways I’ve come across of doing this.
Give any/all of them a try and see what works best for you.

The Vegas Quake script does NOT work in Vegas 8. It would have to be recompiled and the original author of it is no longer around.
