When you are working on the timeline, what is the command to make the event move left or right, without moving the cursor. I need to fine tune the video, and I need to nudge the event one way or the other to sync it up right.

    on the number keypad:

4 & 6 = move one pixel left or right
1 & 3 = move one frame left or right

Now, I want the cursor on timeframe to stay the same, I just want to move the event to the left or right, without moving where I have my cursor positioned. I did this before about 6 months ago but forgot how I did it. I tried to use the number pad yesterday and it seemed to just go to the end or beginning of the event. I hope I am making myself understood. I am trying to line or syc up tracks, and I just want to be able to fine tune the positions of the tracks.

If you click on the desired event to highlight it, then the keystrokes Adam listed work just fine.

edit: If you’ve clicked below the timeline somewhere and don’t want to move the cursor, Ctrl-click the desired event and then use these keystrokes.

Also, for the keys to work – NUMLOCK must be ON!!!

I just zoom in until you can see single frames in the time line and drag one frame at a time. Danny
