I think that some Mac OS X revision introduced this a long time ago and it was eventually fixed in M100HD but maybe not in M100i.

What version are you running? Do you have “scan audio” turned on? If so, try turning it off.

I think you shouldn’t install any kona drivers on your M100 partition yourself, I think the M100 installer does that, so maybe you have dueling drivers?

You need to archive the file by some mechanism before you FTP it, because FTP doesn’t preserve Mac resources. The easiest way is “Create archive of” by control-clicking the file in the Finder. StuffIt will also do it.

See the thread “Wrong document kind” below. But this doesn’t sound like your problem. How did you transfer the file from Producer to your other Mac? Did it go through a Windows file server along the way? See the thread “Xternal Drive File Storage Problem.”

When you create the freeze frame in MotionFX, pick either first field or second field, just not full frame.

Select the new volume in the Finder and do a Get Info. In the info window, there’s an entry called “Format.” Yours is probably formatted as WIN32 (or FAT, or something along those lines). Assuming there’s nothing of value on the drive, reformat it as Mac OS Extended.

Your user account doesn’t have read/write/search permissions on the dimmed volumes.

Are you running on an Intel Mac? Is the AE beta an Intel native (or universal) app?

Sure, but you need some means to do the pulldown from 24 (actually it’s probably 23.98) to 29.97. Maybe the deck can do that?
