Still Effect Jitter
I have a single frame from a short video clip which I want to display as a “freeze frame” for 2-3 seconds. I split the clip and have tried inserting a still clip in the middle. I tried exporting the single frame with Media 100 as a TIFF then importing it as a clip of the right duration. I also tried using the MotionFX settings to create a still clip. Both versions result in the right amount of frozen action, but both jitter–they vibrate back and forth very slightly, but enough for the effect to look amateurish and not truly “still”. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to overcome this issue? Other MotionFX (like slo motion) work very smoothly.
I am running M100 8.2.3 on a Mac G4

When you create the freeze frame in MotionFX, pick either first field or second field, just not full frame.
