There is no way to “relink” the audio files, once it has been deleted from the timeline.

Looks like your audio is peaking for some reason. Use the audio mixer and reduce the audio levels to -6db.

Hmm…Haven’t had any issues, but I usually use a limited number of image sequences. How many images are there in the image sequence?
