I have a few tools that may convert the video for you, but I don’t want to give you any incorrect answers without testing this out on my end.

It depends on the type of interactivity they want. I would personally reccomend Camtasia Studio from Techsmith as it offers full-frame screen captures and a lot more. If you want the training to be on the interactive side, ie: user clicks on a button and it takes them to point X; then take a look at Adobe Captivate. Both have trial versions and are pretty easy to use.

There aren’t any specific ones. Most of them had to do with DVD burining issues. Take a look at the Adobe User forums.

Intel. I have been using Intel laptops for a while now, without any issues. However, on the other hand, many people that I work with have had a few issues with AMD processors, especially while upgrading to new versions of the Adobe applications.
The system looks pretty good! I would not reccomend anything lower than 2gb of system memory.

It IS possible. I am just not sure what you are seeing. Can you post a screenshot of what your AE comp looks like?
