  • Can I export clips seperately?

I have a timeline with 24 greenscreen shots that i have edited, and now need to get into After Effects for keying and compositing. I have tried to import the Premier sequence into After Effects but it then comes up as one single clip, which is not what i need.

Is there a way to export the whole sequence as seperate clips without manually going through every single clip and exporting it seperately? Hopefully there is a workaround because i have 3 or 4 shots where 24 smaller clips are going to be composited into each shot seperately.

    Please help!

    Cheers

When I import my Premiere Pro content into AE, it imports it as a composition. If you open the composition, you should get the various clips.

What if all your clips come from one source movie that has been cut up into many segments?

When i tried to bring it into After Effects it also came in as a composition but it merged all the cuts and just also brought in the source movie. I need to be able to keep all my cuts as seperate clips on the timeline.

    Is this possible?

    Cheers mate

It IS possible. I am just not sure what you are seeing. Can you post a screenshot of what your AE comp looks like?

Hey man, thanks for your responses.

I have gone into after effects and tried to import again, and now it all worked just fine!

    Thank god for that

    Cheers
