Hmm…This is the first time I have seen the error message occur in Premiere Pro. It often occured in Encore DVD v 1.0 If you have not done so already, I would reccomend updating the Adobe Media Encoder and see if that helps or not.

I got my ACE certification in May. It really doesn’t help in getting paid gigs, but they do help if you plan on training (along with teaching degree)

A few reasons this could happen is a) due to the media b) due to the player. Also, 8.000 MPBS MIGHT be a little too high for some players. Try reducing the quality to 7 or so. That might help.

Are you referring to the actual video or the color of the interface?

No. When you have your edited sequence, simply go to File –> Export –> Export to DVD. No need to transcode it to MPEG2. Premiere Pro will do that automatically.
However, to create a DVD from Encore, there are 2 ways to do it.
a. File > Export > Movie and save as an AVI file. When imported in Encore, it will be transcoded automatically as soon as you build your DVD.
b. File > Export > Adobe Media Encoder > MPEG2DVD. This will create DVD compliant files that you can use in Encore without transcoding during build.Aanarav Sareen

What are you facing problems with? Encore and Premiere Pro are two completely different tools. Encore is a DVD Authoring application, where as Premiere Pro is a NLE.

Ah. Well, if you upgraded to SP2 and are experiencing the output problem, then you are not the only one. Numerous people that are using PPRO with SP2 have reported this problem. However, there is no specific solution to this problem as of yet. But, to preview your work on an external monitor, simply use a DV camcorder with an anolog output and connect it to your TV.
Example:
Computer —>(FireWire) —> DV Deck (VCR Mode) —>(analog out) TVAanarav Sareen

Try reinstalling the graphics card drivers or take a look at the manufacturer’s site.

Not sure what you mean by “push up”. Do you mean increase the resolution or something else?
When I first installed SP2 over my existing setup, my system had a numerous amount of problems and I deleted it immediately. However, after I reformatted the system and installed SP2 immediately after installation, I have not had any problems.

Define “professional look”. I have been editing with Premiere Pro since day 001 and I have NEVER had any problems with the way the video looks.
