DVD Error message
Posted by Melvin Royster on July 6, 2005 at 5:10 pmHey, I tried to burn a DVD of about 4 minutes in length. But I received an error message: DVDErr -16072. Does anyone know what that mean? Or should I try to contact Adobe?

July 6, 2005 at 5:29 pmHmm…This is the first time I have seen the error message occur in Premiere Pro. It often occured in Encore DVD v 1.0 If you have not done so already, I would reccomend updating the Adobe Media Encoder and see if that helps or not.

July 6, 2005 at 6:48 pmYeah, I just finished downloading the update, but I’m still running into that error message. Anything else I can try?

July 6, 2005 at 6:57 pmI took a project I cut in Avid, and exported it out as a Quicktime movie, then I imported it into the Premiere Pro, which it needed rendering, and I tried to burn to DVd but I still get that same error message DVD Err 16072. The importing of a Quicktime video shouldn’t cause this error, right? What else can I do? thanks

July 7, 2005 at 4:12 amGo to Adobe Support, type in Premiere. Problems burning from the timeline is first on the list. Hope this helps.
