I bought a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop and am using it for video editing. The monitor colors seem rather cold compared to my 19″ CRT. I adjusted the colors using XP color adjustment capabilities, and managed to make the colors warmer as they appear in Photoshop. However, when I use Premiere, the colors look as if I hadn’t made any adjustment. Is there a way to make them warmer in Premiere?

[Joe Landau] “when I use Premiere, the colors look as if I hadn’t made any adjustment. Is there a way to make them warmer in Premiere?”

Are you referring to the actual video or the color of the interface?
PS: I have a 9300 as well. If you head over to notebookforums.com, someone posted a link on how to reasonably balance the LCD.

My monitors run something called ‘Adobe gamma loader.exe’ if it helps.

I believe it came from Adobe Photoshop but maybe it installed with PremierePro or even After Effects ( although I have only had this recently). It has been on my many NLE / Graphic machines (various over ten years) and I never recall installing it seaparately.
