Premiere Pro by default only saves 5 copies of the project. You can change the auto save properties, to save more copies (I have mine set to 100)

Comparing the quality on a TV monitor and a computer monitor is extremely difficult. If you have another TV laying around, you will still see a difference.

Has the audio finished conforming? If so, delete all the CFA files and let PPRO conform the audio again. Also, try deleting all the rendered files.

Rename the file as .mpg from .vob and use the MainConcept Pro plugin to edit MPEG files.

Unfortunately, Premiere Pro does not have this feature. Submit a feature request on Adobe’s site.

Yes it does resize the videos as needed. Again, it is fully customizable and I would strongly reccomend taking a look at Canopus’s site for more info. Or Tim can help you out with the details.

Procoder can be used as a stand alone encoder as well as a plugin for Premiere Pro. You can export your video using Procoder and specify it to meet your requrements.

MPEG is not meant to be edited and for this reason, PPRo does not handle compressed files very well. However, if you do plan on editing a lot of MPEG files, take a look at Main Concept’s MPEG Pro.
