  • dvd reads hotter on computer screen than t.v.

I’ve exported productions in PPro 1.5’s media encoder for DVD using the MainConcept MPEG Video codec, with a 5.0 (high quality) setting, and a CBR of 8.0. I find that the DVD reads slightly “hotter” on computer screens than when played in a standalone DVD player on a t.v. screen. Anyone know why or how to adjust this? Thanks-

Comparing the quality on a TV monitor and a computer monitor is extremely difficult. If you have another TV laying around, you will still see a difference.
